Background	Semaglutide is a therapeutically effective analog of Glucagon-like Peptide-1 (GLP-1), modified with a side chain. GLP-1 is an incretin hormone that plays a crucial role in glycemic control and body weight regulation, making it particularly relevant for treating Type-II Diabetes (T2D) and obesity.
