Upon reconstitution to 50ml total volume, the solution contains 0.1M sodium phosphate buffer (pH 7.4), 0.05M NaCl, 0.1% BSA, 0.01% NaN3, and 0.1% Triton X-100. Store at 4° - 8°C. This should ensure antibody stability for approximately one month.

Background	γ-Melanocyte Simulating Hormone is an endogenous neuropeptide hormone. It belongs to the group of peptides called melanocortins and derived from the cleavage of the precursor polypeptide Pro-opiomelanocortin (POMC) in the pituitary gland. γ- Melanocyte Simulating Hormone is known to be an agonist of the melanocortin receptors (MCRs) and exists in three forms, γ1-MSH, γ2-MSH, and γ3-MSH. This antibody was generated by immunization of rabbits with γ2-MSH coupled to a carrier protein.
