Protein Description	Recombinant Human R-Spondin-2 is a 24.4 kDa protein consisting of 212 amino acid residues. Due to glycosylation, R-Spondin-2 migrates at an apparent molecular weight of approximately 30.0 kDa by SDS PAGE analysis under reducing conditions.
Storage	Store lyophilized at 2-8°C for 6 months or at -20°C long term. After reconstitution store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C long term. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Summary	This gene encodes a member of the R-spondin family of proteins. These proteins are secreted ligands of leucine-rich repeat containing G protein-coupled receptors that enhance Wnt signaling through the inhibition of ubiquitin E3 ligases. A chromosomal translocation including this locus that results in the formation of a gene fusion has been identified in multiple human cancers.
